We are seeking a commercially driven Key Account Manager to accelerate growth across the Benelux life sciences market . This role is for a proven sales professional who knows how to win, grow, and protect key accounts in a competitive, science-led environment.

💼 The Role

As Key Account Manager , you will own and grow a portfolio of strategic customers, driving revenue through account expansion, long-term partnerships, and new opportunity identification. You will be fully accountable for sales performance within your territory and key accounts.

This is a hands-on commercial role with high visibility and impact.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Own, manage, and grow key strategic accounts across the Benelux region
  • Deliver against clear revenue, growth, and margin targets
  • Develop and execute robust account plans to maximize long-term value
  • Identify upselling, cross-selling, and new business opportunities
  • Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers and influencers
  • Lead complex sales cycles from opportunity identification to close
  • Collaborate closely with internal commercial, marketing, and technical teams
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer dynamics
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and conferences

🧠 Your Profile (Read Carefully)

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a sales or key account management role within the life sciences industry – THIS IS A MUST
  • Degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field
  • Strong understanding of the Benelux life sciences landscape
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Strategic, structured, and opportunity-focused mindset
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French is a strong advantage
  • Willing and able to travel regularly within the Benelux region
