We are working with the leading manufacturer of fully automated, fit-to-size packaging machinery. Their solutions not only reduce shipping costs for their customers, they are also beneficial to the environment as they reduce waste packaging material and CO2 emissions.

They are looking for a Resident Engineer to support one of their customers at their site in Liege Belgium.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission automated packaging systems
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and corrective repairs on mechanical, electrical, and software components
• Provide hands-on training to customer personnel on equipment operation, safety procedures, and routine maintenance

Requirements

• Electrically qualified professional with over 5 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintaining complex electro-mechanical systems, backed by a strong electromechanical background
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Skilled in the use of mechanical and electrical hand tools; able to read technical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems, automation, and/or packaging technology is a strong plus

Benefits

• Salary range is €40k-€60k depending on experience
