Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a SQL Developer located in Antwerp, with some work-from-home flexibility. The SQL Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SQL databases and ensuring their performance, security, and availability. Day-to-day tasks include writing and optimizing SQL queries, developing data integration solutions, maintaining database systems, and collaborating with other IT team members to support application development and data analytics. The role also involves troubleshooting database issues and providing technical support for database-related matters.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining SQL databases
• Experience in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries
• Skills in developing data integration solutions and maintaining database systems
• Understanding of database performance, security, and availability
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot database issues
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience in the chemical distribution industry is a plus
• Knowledge of other database technologies (e.g., NoSQL, Oracle) is beneficial
