The Role

Based in Brussels, you will join our Corporate Department as a Senior Associate / Counsel, working closely with partners and clients on demanding and varied cases.

Your main responsibilities will include:

·        M&A / Private Equity / Joint Ventures: Leading and executing transactions (buy-side / sell-side), structuring, due diligence, drafting and negotiating transactional documents (SPA/APA, shareholders’ agreements, etc.).

·        Corporate advice and governance: Reorganisations, mergers, demergers, capital transactions, and compliance with governance rules (Belgian and European).

·        Restructuring: Assisting companies and investors in reorganisation or continuity proceedings.

·        Supervision and mentoring: Guiding junior associates, reviewing their work, coordinating tasks, and sharing best practices.

·        Client development: Actively contributing to client relationship management and to the growth of the Corporate practice and the firm.

Profile

·        Qualified lawyer registered with the Belgian Bar, with an excellent academic background.

·        6 to 8+ years of relevant experience in Corporate / M&A within a reputable law firm.

·        Native-level proficiency in Dutch, with a very good command of French, and an excellent level of English.

·        Ability to manage complex files autonomously, with precision and analytical insight.

·        Proactive attitude, entrepreneurial mindset, intellectual curiosity, and strong team spirit.

·        An LL.M. or an additional master’s degree is an asset.
