Data analyst / Financial Controller

To support the financial team of a global automotive brand with European HQ in Brussels, we are looking for an experienced Data analyst / Financial Controller

Your responsibilities

Your core mission will be to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of financial data, as well as contribute to the monthly reporting cycles and continuous improvement of the underlying processes and systems.

This is a strategic and operational role suited for someone with strong analytical skills, a

hands-on attitude, and proven experience in data analytics and financial controlling.

1. Data management:

- Monthly consolidation and quality control of financial data

- Import and maintenance of financial data into a consolidated database

- Update of templates/macros used for data collection/import.

2. Reporting:

- Contribute to effective profit performance through effective tracking and reporting.

- Continuously improve the reporting processes: Automation, centralisation, visualisation, considering other stakeholders involved.

- Maintain and update Fiscal year reporting calendar in agreement with main stakeholders.

3. System management:

- Contribute to the continuous improvement projects with the objective to create sustainable and stable monthly reporting cycles

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or

related field.

• 5+ years of experience in data analytics and financial controlling

• Experience working with large datasets.

• Expert level in Excel, macro's and Power BI

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

• High attention to detail and strong commitment to data quality and accuracy.

• Proactive mindset, with the ability to take initiative and drive results.
