What You Will Do
As a
Security Engineer
, you will be a key player in managing the security challenges that come with our rapid growth. On a continuous basis you will build robust systems to protect our critical customer and business information while handling security monitoring and incident response within our organisation. You will also be helping to establish the technical controls and security procedures that support our SOC2 compliance efforts. You'll be crucial in putting these practices into action, ensuring a strong foundation that allows the business to move quickly and safely while staying ahead of the security curve.

Where you will have impact

• Design, implement, and maintain security tooling and automation for our CI/CD pipelines, cloud environment, and application stack.
• Manage our Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), including auditing security groups, IAM roles, and hardening our cloud infrastructure.
• Oversee application security by conducting security reviews, enabling developers on secure coding practices, and triaging vulnerabilities.
• Participate in the full security incident response lifecycle, from detection and analysis to containment and root cause analysis.
• Support compliance and auditing efforts for standards like SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI-DSS by conducting internal audits and preparing for external assessments.
• Provide guidance and training to embed a "security-first" mindset in all teams

We are a key part of the Platform vertical, working hand-in-hand with the DevOps and IT teams to integrate security seamlessly into everything we build. Who You Are

• You have 1-2 years of experience in a security engineering role, preferably within a cloud-native company.
• A strong, genuine passion for technology and a deep interest in security, networking, and cloud architecture drives you.
• You are an excellent communicator, capable of explaining complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• You thrive in a collaborative team environment but are also self-sufficient and can manage tasks independently.
• You have a proactive and problem-solving mindset, always looking for ways to improve security practices.

We welcome

• Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure) and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) tools like Wiz or Orca.
• Direct experience helping an organization achieve or maintain compliance with standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, or PCI-DSS.
• A background in software development or DevOps, with a demonstrated passion for transitioning into a security-focused role.
• Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) to automate security tasks.
