Are you an experienced Instrumentation or Automation Engineer looking to join a high-impact project in one of Belgium’s busiest industrial hubs?

Our client, a global leader in industrial and process automation, is expanding its team due to increased project demand across the chemical, pharmaceutical, and renewable energy sectors. You’ll play a vital role in designing, maintaining, and optimising automated systems and field instrumentation across complex production environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain automation systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA)
• Specify, select, and calibrate instrumentation for pressure, flow, temperature, and level
• Support commissioning, FAT/SAT, and troubleshooting activities
• Liaise with multidisciplinary teams including process, electrical, and mechanical engineers
• Ensure systems comply with ATEX, SIL, and other relevant safety standards
• Work across CAPEX and brownfield projects on-site or hybrid

You Bring:

• 3+ years’ experience in Automation or Instrumentation Engineering
• Experience with Siemens, ABB, Honeywell, or Emerson platforms (for Automation roles)
• Field experience with instrumentation in hazardous/regulated environments (for Instrumentation roles)
• Fluency in English or Dutch (French is a plus)
• EU Work Permit or Belgian Residency
