LASEA Belgium is looking for a Field Service Engineer (M/F/X)

To strengthen its team, LASEA Belgium is looking for a Field Service Engineer to work in a team of 6 FSEs at its site in Liège, Belgium (Liège science park).

Your responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for commissioning machines and providing after-sales service in-house or at the customer's premises.You will be able to lead discussions on complex issues and resolve them either independently or in collaboration with other Group departments or subsidiaries.
• You will ensure high availability for assignments abroad.
• You will document commissioning and updating training documents on an ongoing basis in line with the company's technological advances.
• You will be responsible for training operators in the use and safety of the machine, both in-house and at the customer's premises, in French and/or English. You will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction.

Your profile:

• You have a basic technical training, bachelor's degree or industrial engineer, versatile.
• You have three years' experience in a similar position or activity.
• Knowledge of PLC-type programming languages and tools (Siemens, Pilz, B&R) is an advantage.
• You have a good understanding of design software such as CAD/CAM (Solidworks).
• You have good spatial visualization skills and a basic knowledge of mechanics.
• You have knowledge of electricity.
• Knowledge of optics/photonics/industrial lasers is a real asset.
• You are familiar with IT and reporting tools (Microsoft Office, Teams, etc.).
• You have a good knowledge of technical English.
• You are autonomous, rigorous and methodical.
• You have a keen interest in continuing training in innovative fields.
• You are capable of quickly taking on technical responsibilities.
• You are resistant to stress.
• You are curious and looking for new challenges in a high-tech environment.
