THE POSITION The accounting assistant is supporting the Benelux Accounting team (7 people) on different administrative and bookkeeping tasks for the different companies of the LVMH Perfumes & Cosmetics branch. The position is based in our Brussels office. Job Responsibilities As Accounts Payable, you will : Process and record supplier invoices (with and without PO reference) Help in the management of the shared mailbox: processing supplier invoices and reconciling suppliers statements Follow up on the approval of purchase invoices Manage the process of creation and modification of suppliers in the system in accordance with group procedures Forward and archive accounting documents regarding our Lux company (handled by an external accountant) As Accounts Receivable, you will: Record bank statements Manage customer open items: reconciling payments to unpaid invoices Help in the management of the shared mailbox and send reminder emails to customers Reconcile cash register reports and payments received by credit cards to Boutique's sales reports In this role, you will also: Update follow up files (project follow-up, databases, group reporting or for audit purposes, and other) Assist in the preparation of the audit files: Preparing confirmation letters for clients, suppliers and banks Downloading data from SAP Scan and archive documents on the shared network drive Profile Ideal Candidate : You are currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field You understand accounting principles and have the ability to analyze financial information You have excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines You possess excellent written and verbal English skills You have a proactive attitude and a genuine desire to learn about accounting processes and the luxury goods industry Additional Information What we Offer: A 6-month internship program running from July 2026, providing valuable hands-on experience.
