Technology Engineer

Our defence client are looking for a Technology Engineer to be based fully onsite in Brussels, Belgium. This would be working on a long term contract and candidates would require an active SC/DV/NS/CTS clearance.

Specific qualification

7+ years in complex, large scale technology engineering; demonstrated track record driving innovation and delivering scalable systems under regulated or mission-critical environments experience leading technical delivery in enterprise or defence contexts; experience in data-centric architectures, virtualization platforms, cloud environments, or zero-trust/security architectures. Strongly Desirable Certifications (depending on level):

• Certified Solutions Architect (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud) or equivalent cloud architecture credential.

• Certifications in security / zero-trust (e.g. CISSP, CISM, or equivalents, or cloud security certs like CCSP).

• Certifications or training in data architecture, data engineering, or AI/ML (e.g. Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or relevant vendor/industry credentials).

• Certifications in virtualization / infrastructure (VMware, Hyper-V, Kubernetes, etc.).

• Agile / DevSecOps / IT governance certifications (e.g. Scrum Master, SAFe, or others).
