Do you want to be part of a leading NGO with over 45 years of recognized services in the social sector? KMOP is looking for a new Project Manager for social impact and innovation projects funded by international donors (e.g., Erasmus+, CERV, AMIF, Horizon Europe, Interreg Europe), based at KMOP Policy Center in Brussels. KMOP Policy Center was established in Brussels in 2020, with the aim of conducting in-depth research, producing impactful, evidence-based policies, and advocating on social issues as an extension of KMOP.
As Project Manager, you will coordinate internal and external teams, ensuring smooth running of activities, quality of outputs and the representation of KMOP at local and international levels. In addition, you will collaborate with a rich network of European organisations and stakeholders to make each project’s outcome count. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who wants to make some tangible changes in the social sector.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and organise tasks to achieve projects’ and KMOP’s goals, foreseeing and managing risks, timelines, and deliverables
- Directly implement and execute key activities such as project meetings, preparation of documentation, progress reports, research support, development and reviewing of project outputs, and preparation of final reports
- Coordinate the implementation of projects’ tasks assigned to project partners and/or internal teams (e.g. communication, finance, translation), ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery
- Initiate, manage and cultivate relations with external stakeholders, including project partners, donors and local communities, ensuring effective communication and successful collaboration
- Contribute to the identification, design, and development of new project proposals, ensuring alignment with KMOP’s strategic priorities and funding opportunities
- Represent KMOP in local and international forums, ensuring the organization’s visibility and fostering partnerships to support its mission
REQUIREMENTS
- University degree. Postgraduate studies will be considered an asset
- At least 2+ years of experience in management/implementation of EU projects
- Good knowledge and understanding of EU procedures and project design & management methodologies
- Excellent communication skills in English, French and/or Dutch with the ability to adapt messages according to a variety of audiences. Any other European language will be a plus.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet strict deadlines
