Data Solution Architect

As a Data Solution Architect, you will design, implement, and optimize cloud-based data solutions using Azure and Databricks, including the migration of ETL jobs to Databricks. You will ensure that data architectures are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.

The role:

• Design and implement
  end-to-end data architectures
  on Azure and Databricks
• Lead and support the
  migration of ETL/ELT processes
  to Databricks
• Configure and optimize Azure services, Databricks clusters, workflows, and CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure alignment with
  security, governance, lineage, and enterprise architecture standards
• Support the transition from legacy platforms through phased and hybrid solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and actively participate in agile ceremonies
• Act as
  Product Owner of the Data Platform
  , owning vision, roadmap, and value delivery
• Provide technical guidance, mentor team members, and promote best practices
• Contribute to monitoring, incident resolution, cost optimization, and continuous improvement

Required skills:

• Certification & Strong hands-on experience with Azure (Key Vault, IAM, networking)
• Certification & Strong hands-on experience with Databricks (Clusters, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, PySpark, Notebooks)
• Experience in migrating ETL jobs to Databricks
• Solid knowledge of data lake house architectures
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and Git workflows

Nice to have skills:

• Terraform or Bicep
• Docker or Kubernetes
• Data governance tools (e.g., Purview, Collibra)
