Job Description:

The Geel site is our largest chemical production site for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) within the J&J supply chain. We ensure lifesaving medicines reach the patient safely and optimally. Besides production of API's, the site has a launch & grow mission for new pharmaceutical products. To accomplish this mission, we keep investing in innovative technologies, people and partnerships.

Ensure and improve the well being (safety, health, environment) within a business unit, through daily contacts with operations, reviewing and analyzing good saves, near misses and executing and implementing smaller improvement projects.

• Regular contact with operations via Tier 2 meeting, Prevention meetings, observation tours,..

• Investigate safety – environmental incidents to identify root causes and implement improvements

• Analyze good saves – near misses to identify improvement

• Coordinate – lead smaller improvement project on business unit or site level.

• Master's Degree preferably in Chemical engineering or Process technology (bioengineering, industrial engineering or chemistry), or consistent track record in an industrial, operational environment.

• Basic knowledge of legislation and guidelines, related to well-being (safety, health, environment) on the job floor.

• Technical knowledge of some of the following is highly valued: spray dryer/dryer, process analytical technologies (PAT), data analytical tools/digitalization

• Owns good project management, organizing, planning and coordination skills.

• Problem solving skills

• Develops strong collaborations with internal business partners.

• Working knowledge of English (both verbally and written) and Dutch
