Junior Consultant

Responsibilities
Acting as consultant in valuation frameworks for structured finance and debt instruments (ABS, MBS, CLOs, etc.), focusing on fair value estimation and quantitative modeling.
Applying advanced valuation methodologies (e.g., DCF, scenario-based modeling, mark-to-model) to complex products and ensuring seamless integration into valuation and reporting systems.
Liaising with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate valuation requirements into pragmatic, automated solutions.
Enhancing risk and valuation policies & procedures to reflect best practices in fair value accounting.
Participating in the development and implementation of valuation models, tools, and data pipelines for structured portfolios.
Automating valuation production and reporting, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory alignment where applicable.
REQUIREMENTS
Master's degree in econometrics, physics, mathematics, computer science, applied economics, or finance.
An advanced degree in finance and/or a certification like FRM or PRM is a distinct advantage.
2-3 years of experience in securitisation products, with hands-on exposure to valuation and/or life cycle of ABS, MBS, CLOs, or similar debt securitisation instruments.
Relevant consulting experience in the financial industry is a plus.
Expertise in valuation techniques such as DCF, Monte Carlo simulations, option pricing, and scenario modeling.
Familiarity with or exposure to relevant accounting and valuation standards (IFRS 9 fair value principles, ) is a plus.
Proficiency in analytical software (SAS, R, Python, MATLAB) for implementing valuation frameworks.
Excellent communication skills, able to articulate complex quantitative valuation concepts clearly and professionally.
French or Dutch language skills are a plus.
