We're looking for a
QHSE Advisor
who will ensure that quality performance is maximised. Promote continuous improvement initiatives with the view to seeking better ways of doing things and raising the standards within the business.

What You'll Do – Your Mission:

As a
QHSE Advisor
, you'll support and develop the existing QSHE policies and procedures at James Walker. You will also be responsible for day-to-day operations of the QSHE management systems internally.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Ensure that processes necessary for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 compliant systems are implemented and maintained.
• Report to the local site Management Team on the performance of the quality, H&S and Environmental management systems and on any need for improvement or for the necessity for additional certification or accreditation.
• Prepare an internal audit schedule and co-ordinate with the auditing team so that audits are carried out, reported and followed up in a timely manner.
• Ensure and enable the availability of quality information, quality of inspection and control of updated documentation.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with all department leads.
• Be visible within the manufacturing and warehouse areas to support the production operators with in-process checks as well as supporting the goods received/despatch teams to ensure that products and processes comply with the company and customer requirements.
• Interface with all business process areas to ensure that quality control and assurance processes are implemented for all products including manufactured and traded items.
• Develop training to build quality awareness.

What You Bring

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Detailed understanding of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018
• Management of Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental Systems
• Production and Implementation of policies/procedures
• Auditing of Management Systems
• Working in a customer service environment
• Applicants must have native-level proficiency in Dutch and professional knowledge in English

Preferred:

• Full QSHE Management Systems implementation
• Understanding of CBAM reporting requirements.
• Member of relevant professional body to maintain continuous professional development
• Up to date knowledge of EU legislation in relation to QSHE Management systems.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
