Job role: OSI Pi - Technical Analyst

Work Location: Braine-l'Alleud, Belgium

Key Responsibilities:

•Provide installation, configuration, and monitoring support for the PI system servers, the application operating systems, interfaces, and client tools on end user workstations

•Day to day project support, maintenance and enhancements activities.

•PI System Tag creation/monitoring/maintenance and Asset Framework Configuration

•PI Data Analyzation/Visualization utilizing PI Asset Framework and Vision

•PI Historian System Administration (Production, Testing & development environment)

•Provide performance optimization and system health monitoring in support of compliance with overall health and availability targets for production systems.

•Provide monitoring and maintenance support for system security, deployment of patches, file backups, system restoration, and password management.

•Provide technical expertise in the identification, analysis, and resolution of problems.

•Perform root cause analysis along with recommending and implementing preventive techniques as required.

•Develop and maintain effective application technical support documentation including procedures.

•Ability to configure interface nodes.

•Ability to collect requirements for the data integration of process control systems/equip and configure the appropriate interface as required

•Ability to troubleshoot Windows Server/Activity Directory/Domain Issues

•Ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues.

•Experience in integrating with third party systems/interfaces

•Knowledge of PI Integrators

Essential Skills:

•Strong experience in a combination of process control, automation (PCS, SCADA & DCS), software development or information technology management in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, or other life sciences industries.

•Good technical knowledge of networks and related hardware & software.

•Good knowledge of protocols

•Ability to converse about business KPIs and not just technical KPIs

•Demonstrated success in identifying requirements and subsequent development and implementation of PI Installation and Integration Activities

•Understanding of ITIL processes, service management

Nice to Have Skills:

•Preferred to have Pharma background but OK to have extensive background in other domains

Qualifications:

•Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering/Science, or any Engineering
