Sales Manager


Freelance Sales Manager to drive Distribution and C&I sales in Belgium. Shape regional strategy, grow revenue, and represent a global solar leader powering the energy transition.

Purpose

As a Sales Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening Jinko Solar’s position in Belgium. Your focus will be on growing and maintaining a strong client portfolio, positioning Jinko Solar as a leader in the region. This is an opportunity to work with one of the top players in the solar industry and contribute meaningfully to the global energy transition.

This is a freelance position.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for sales and key account management in Belgium.

  • Drive sales and business development for C&I and Distribution. Identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Interact with clients to understand requirements, both technically and commercially
  • Initiate solutions to meet customer needs and maintain long-term relationships with Key clients.
  • Lead negotiations, prepare proposals and close sales contracts.
  • Schedule, manage, participate, and run special customer events, customer requests, and/or other activities to maintain and strengthen the relationship between us and Jinko client.
  • Independently develop and execute commercial plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Prospect and develop business opportunities aligned with global strategy to prompt Jinko brand influence.
  • Manage and expand existing customer accounts, ensure a high level of customer support.
  • Work closely with local Legal, Finance, Technical Support, Product team to drive major contractual negotiations according to company guideline.
  • Support marketing activities and market communication. Collect market intelligence and latest information on various competitor activities to optimize the business.
  • Provide sales forecasts and reports, ensuring accurate pipeline management.
  • Develop strategies, together with the Head of Sales, to grow market share and partnerships.

Background and requirements

  • Degree in business or engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in sales within the solar sector.
  • Good understanding of the local PV market
  • Demonstrable and successful B2B sales experience ideally in PV/ Solar with key accounts in the region.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage complex contractual negotiations involving multiple stakeholders
  • Experience with value selling and designing an account development strategy/plan
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in English and at least Dutch or French.
  • Result-driven approach and ability to work autonomously
  • Strong negotiation, communication and organization skills
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical and technical skills as well as intercultural skills
  • High reliability and ability to work under pressure
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic, self-motivated and excellent teamwork
  • Willingness/ability to travel on a regular basis
