Job Summary

To support its continued growth, Insurope is looking for a Junior Group Employee Benefits Analyst to join its headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. In this role, you will provide essential day-to-day support to our technical department, reporting to the Chief Actuary. This is a unique opportunity to kickstart your career in a global insurance network, gaining hands-on experience in an administrative yet highly analytical position. You’ll be exposed to the inner workings of international employee benefits and insurance programs, with room to grow into a more technical or senior role over time. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Production of Multinational Accounts
• Production of Multinational Pooling Illustrations (i.e. quotations)
• Assistance to the Chief Actuary in analyzing technical issues and providing appropriate solutions
• Assistance to the Insurope Network Members in the preparation of their quotations
• Assistance to the Sales department with respect to the Multinational Accounts and Multinational Pooling Illustrations
• Support to the Chief Actuary in preparing statistics and figures for the Insurope Network Members and Sales department
• Discuss deliverables and planning/timelines with all stakeholders (i.e. commercial/salespeople, network members, etc.)
• Maintaining existing tools (in Excel and Access) and testing of new developments

Key Qualifications

• One to three years of relevant experience in the Insurance and/or mathematics and/or economics and/or financial Institutions
• Minimum bachelor’s degree required
• Knowledge of VBA or other programming languages (a plus)
• Knowledge/Experience in (International) Employee Benefits (a plus)
• Knowledge/Experience in re-insurance systems (a plus)
• Graduate actuary (a plus)

Skills Required

• Fluency in English - other languages is an asset
• Great sense of organisation and planning
• Great sense of figures
• Accurate - Process-driven and attentive to detail
• Capable of working independently as well as in a group
