Freelance Data Lead

Daily Rate: €680/day (excl. VAT)

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Data Lead – Reconciliation to take ownership of a large-scale data migration and validation project within the insurance and financial services sector.

You will lead end-to-end reconciliation efforts, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of critical data across client and internal systems.

• Lead and coordinate complex data reconciliation activities across cross-functional teams.
• Design and implement comprehensive reconciliation frameworks to validate large-scale data migrations.
• Analyze and resolve data mismatches between legacy and target systems.
• Align reconciliation logic with client business requirements and technical specifications.
• Guide and support on-site and nearshore technical teams.
• Develop audit trails, dashboards, and reporting for transparency and compliance.
• Manage post-migration validation processes and drive continuous improvements in data integrity workflows.

• At least 8 years of experience in data migration, reconciliation, and data quality projects.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with SQL-based tools.
• Proven leadership managing complex data projects.
• Solid domain knowledge in Life Insurance or Financial Services (mandatory).
• Expertise in ETL processes, data validation, troubleshooting, and reporting.
• Fluency in French (native/bilingual) and strong working proficiency in English.

• Experience leading data migration programs as project or technical lead.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools and reporting.
• Exposure to document digitization or archive transformation initiatives.
