Senior Software Engineer

OVERVIEW:

Inku is looking for a Software Engineer to help build the next wave of capabilities for our AI-powered marketing platform. We're looking for someone who will bring an abundance of positive energy, and empathy to the team every day, in addition to
being highly effective

The right candidate enjoys building world-class creative products in a fast-paced environment. You will actively contribute to the development of AI models that are powering our innovative platform. You will wear multiple hats and work on engineering, research, and everything in between. Your contributions will span model architecture, data curation, training and inference infrastructures, evaluation protocols, backend services, API development, and many other exciting topics at the cutting edge of generative AI.

Inku is building custom brand models to deliver consistent, high-quality image generation at scale. As a Software Engineer, you will work across our entire stack - from GPU infrastructure and model training to backend services, APIs, and our multi-agent interfaces. You would be responsible to benchmark, profile, debug and tune the training and inference of generative AI running in production GPU clusters, while also building and maintaining the services that power our platform. Sophisticated tools and techniques are needed to maintain the reliability, runtime performance, and health of distributed GPU systems running our training workflows, as well as the robustness of our production services. You must work closely with our team to instrument best known state-of-the-art and novel tools and techniques to achieve the smooth operation of AI workloads and scalable backend systems. As a contributing member of the core group of engineers, you would also bring to the table best practices driving architectural changes and influence the roadmap of relevant software and hardware components. Your work will directly impact our ability to serve clients and facilitate the next wave of growth and innovation in creative AI.

We're developing multi-agent architectures and context-aware systems that make sophisticated image generation accessible through conversational interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and infrastructure for our image platform
• Develop and tune scalable training software for NVIDIA B200, H100, and AMD MI-series architectures
• Build and optimize services for our multi-agent conversational system
• Benchmark GPU clusters and optimize
  SLURM-based

workload scheduling
- Gather data and insights to develop the compute infrastructure roadmap
- Work with modern development tools including AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.)
- Care deeply about creative AI and its deployment in production
- Actively contribute to the development of models powering our platform
- Find a path to get things done despite roadblocks to get your work into the hands of users quickly and iteratively
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced, design-driven, product development cycle

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, Python, or Rust
• OR equivalent experience
• Experience with generative AI
• Experience with distributed computing
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, Python, or Rust
• OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, Python, or Rust
• OR equivalent experience
• Experience working in production environments with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor,, or similar tools)
• Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) or other Kubernetes platforms
• Experience with cloud GPU providers (Datacrunch, Lambda Labs, GCP, etc.)
• Experience with models and fine-tuning techniques (LoRA, DreamBooth)
• Experience with SLURM or similar HPC job schedulers
• Knowledge of ComfyUI or similar inference frameworks
• Experience building scalable backend services and APIs
• Experience with PostgreSQL and vector databases
• Experience in leading technical projects and supporting architectural decisions with data
