We're looking for an Field Engineer to join our client's team. This role focuses on providing high-quality on-site technical support across various locations, with a strong emphasis on PC systems, tablets and related peripherals.
Responsibilities
As part of our client's support operations, you'll be responsible for:
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining hardware and software on-site
- Diagnosing and solving technical issues related to desktops, POS terminals, printers, mobile devices, and network connectivity
- Performing regular system updates and diagnostic procedures
- Supporting users with troubleshooting, training, and technical guidance
- Managing virus, spyware, and malware removal
- Repairing hardware components and network equipment when necessary
- Enhancing device performance through hardware adjustments
- Ensuring data privacy and system security compliance
Required Skills & Experience
We're looking for someone with a strong foundation in field support and technical problem-solving:
- Proven track record as an on-site or field technician
- Solid knowledge of Windows operating systems and general IT infrastructure
- Experience with PC hardware, POS systems, tablets, smartphones, and associated peripherals
- Comfortable using basic technical tools (e.g. screwdrivers, diagnostic devices)
- Familiarity with network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN)
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection best practices
- Effective communicator with strong organizational and time-management skills
- Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+ are a plus

- You have a Belgian driving license (cars)
- Language requirements: Dutch and English
