Senior Solution Architect

We're looking for a skilled consultant to join our client's team, where you will play a critical role in analyzing, documenting, and improving business functions, processes, and information systems. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in IT architecture and relevant methodologies to deliver innovative and efficient solutions.

Responsibilities
Your main tasks will include:

• Investigating and documenting business functions and processes
• Defining architecture requirements and creating specifications for process improvements
• Managing communication related to architecture within the organization
• Maintaining the system architecture baseline
• Creating detailed system functional specifications for integrated solutions
• Providing guidance on the development and modifications of solution components
• Leading solution architecture definition in small to medium projects
• Coordinating collaboration with external service providers
• Coaching peers and contributing to their professional development

Profile of the Ideal Candidate
The right candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• 8+ years of IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years in IT architecture
• 3+ years using formal software engineering methods (e.g., PRINCE2 / Agile)
• Proficient knowledge in Business, Applications, Integration, Data, Security, and Technology architecture
• Experience in enterprise application integration and related patterns
• Strong analytical skills and conceptual thinking ability
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Dutch
• Experience in leading and mentoring diverse teams in a global environment
• Educated to degree level or equivalent in IT or Business Management

Key Competencies
In this role, you will need to demonstrate the following competencies:

• Capability in database and repository design, including data modelling techniques
• Proficiency in requirements definition, ensuring traceability and stakeholder agreement
• Familiarity with solution architecture and systems integration methods
• Technical expertise in relevant information and communication technologies
• Ability to manage projects effectively and coordinate with stakeholders
