We're looking for a driven Site Reliability Engineer to join our client's team. This is a diverse technical role requiring a strong mix of system engineering and software development capabilities, with an emphasis on maintaining operational continuity and supporting both internal users and project implementations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on various infrastructure and development projects, contributing to both new implementations and ongoing improvements.
- Assist in drafting and following up on technical designs and implementation plans.
- Efficiently manage IT systems, including proactive infrastructure maintenance and user support.
- Provide third-line support for application monitoring and infrastructure incidents.
- Participate in the deployment and support of new software releases, including hands-on involvement during release weekends.
- Monitor and tune batch processes across production and test environments, ensuring system availability.
- Communicate effectively with internal IT coordination, escalating critical issues or risks promptly.
Role & Tasks
- Design and maintain technical solutions, assist in migrating legacy systems, and develop modern, maintainable software components.
- Support and troubleshoot incidents related to business applications and infrastructure services.
- Configure and administer servers, databases, networks, and security systems in collaboration with external partners.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of comprehensive technical documentation.
- Evaluate technical feasibility of proposed solutions and perform hands-on coding, scripting, and configuration tasks.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a Bachelor or Master in IT, Electronics, Computer Science.. and/or has equivalent experience.
- Brings at least 3 years of experience in a comparable role, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates hands-on expertise with technologies such as Windows Server, IIS, SQL (T-SQL), C# .NET, Powershell, XML, API development and scripting tools; or similar technologies.
- Other experiences and skills such as authentication frameworks, DevOps, Cloud, legacy tools and code are an added value
