Your responsibilities

We are currently reshaping the overall approach to data through a new design, infrastructure and reporting suite. To support this shift towards a more scalable and futureproof solution to better serve all Belgium business, we are looking for a Data Analyst to own the end-to-end analytics, from assessing business requirements against the existing reporting suite, to translating these into intuitive and actionable insights and reports. You will closely work with all functions at the Head office, as well as with the clinics. You will report into the Strategy & Business Development Director.

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Collaborate with business users to gather reporting requirements, understand data needs, and evaluate them against the existing reporting suite
• Design, build and maintain robust datasets in Databricks using the medallion architecture to support reporting and self-service analytics.
• Improve data models, performance and reliability of pipelines feeding the silver and gold layers.
• Translate business requirements into data requirements, define the right metrics, and data models
• Design, develop and maintain intuitive, high-quality Power BI dashboards and reports that drive clear, actionable business decisions.
• Act as a gatekeeper for reporting: assess new report requests against existing assets, challenge duplication, and guide stakeholders towards using or enhancing current reports when appropriate.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their evolving needs and prioritise requests.
• Ensure data quality and consistency across reports, including validation, documentation of business definitions, and clear communication of assumptions and limitations.
• Train and support users in Belgium on effective use of Power BI through onboarding, regular training sessions and training guides to promote a data-driven culture and self-service analytics
• Monitor report usage, gather feedback and iterate dashboards so they remain relevant, accurate and aligned to evolving business priorities.

Your profile

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Analytics Engineer in a complex, multi-site or multi-country organisation.
• Good understanding, and ideally experience with Azure Databricks or similar platforms, including SQL, Python or PySpark and working with medallion models.
• Solid understanding of data modelling and designing consumption-ready tables for BI tools
• Advanced Power BI skills of building interactive dashboards, row-level security and performance optimisation.
• Familiarity with data governance concepts and federated data models.
• Ability to translate complex data into clear narratives and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management: comfortable pushing back on low-value or duplicate reporting requests.
• Experience running user training, demos or onboarding sessions for BI tools and driving adoption.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English
