The IT Systems & Web Integration Specialist is responsible for administering on-premise IT systems, maintaining critical servers and services, managing governance documentation, and supporting the development and integration of internal web platforms. The role includes maintaining a Windows offline network, performing system updates and migrations, and contributing to OSINT-related capabilities through the development of specialised IT tools.
This position requires strong technical versatility, hands-on experience with system administration and web development, and the ability to work in structured project environments using PM² and IT security management methodologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise IT systems and servers.
- Administer and support a Windows offline network consisting of 7 virtual servers (Hyper-V).
- Maintain and update core services including Active Directory, Exchange, SQL Server, and VEAM backup.
- Perform testing, debugging, and validation of system updates prior to deployment.
- Execute system migrations, ensuring continuity, integrity, and security of offline environments.
- Create technical documentation for end users on internally developed tools.
- Maintain governance and project documentation in alignment with PM² and ITSRM methodologies (Project Charters, Security Plans, Business Cases, etc.).
- Support audits, compliance reviews, and security requirements through accurate documentation.
- Develop and update internal web pages using PHP, Java, HTML, XML, and related technologies.
- Integrate and maintain data exchange between different internal web platforms.
- Produce prototypes, functional models, and integration scripts where required.
- Ensure all web components adhere to security, accessibility, and performance standards.
- Contribute to the Unit's OSINT-related activities by identifying or developing IT tools, scripts, and techniques.
- Support knowledge dissemination on OSINT tools and methods.
- Participate in improving monitoring, data collection, and automated processes relevant to the Unit's mission.
Education & Experience
- At least 4 years of experience performing system administration and/or web development tasks aligned with the responsibilities above.
Technical Expertise (Required)
- Proven ability to integrate diverse web platforms and internal systems.
- Hands-on experience with on-premise systems administration and virtual server management (Hyper-V).
- Experience managing Windows-based infrastructures (AD, Exchange, SQL Server).
- Ability to produce high-quality documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Capacity to deliver results under tight deadlines and operational pressure.
