Corporate Banking Relationship Manager

Company Description:

We are a leading international bank with a strong presence in Europe. To support our growing business in Belgium, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our Corporate Banking Team.

Position Summary:

The Relationship Manager plays a key role in supporting the maintenance and development of the corporate banking division. You will actively engage, undertaking a broad range of duties including customer on boarding, credit analysis reporting, administrative tasks, systems set-up, post-loan portfolio management and monitoring. You will assist the Head of Department in commercial promotion and activities and contribute actively to the growth of ICBC Brussels commercial division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Head of the Corporate Department, actively contribute to the corporate banking division daily duties, portfolio assets management and business development initiatives.

• Conduct credit analysis and prepare credit proposals in line with internal policies. Ensure post-loan monitoring and timely management of reporting deadlines.

• Support the structuring, application and execution of corporate financing transactions. Coordinate with internal teams (e.g. Risk, Compliance, Operations) to ensure effective implementation of management requirements and procedures.

• Engage KYC and AML documentation processes in coordination with Compliance.

• Participate in client meetings and networking event and follow-up actions to build strong relationships. Ensure client satisfaction by responding quickly and efficiently to their needs and resolving issues.

• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of banking products and services and market trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field, with a focus on Finance or Banking.

• Relevant experience in the banking or financial sector. Familiar with corporate syndicated loans, bilateral loans, structured assets loans and LMA facility agreements.

• Experience in structured lending is a strong plus.

• Strong analytical, communication, and client management skills.

• Ability to pay close attention to details and ensure accuracy in financial assessments.
