Electrical/Security Engineer

Role Overview
Our client is currently looking for an Electrical/Security Engineer to join a leading biopharma company based in Belgium. As the Electrical/Security Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that cGMPs, SOPs, Company Procedures, and Good Engineering Practices are appropriately integrated into all projects and standards. This role offers the chance to be part of a transformative team, contributing to the evolution of multiple sites.

Key Duties And Responsibilities
Your duties as the Electrical/Security Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• Support and assist the Global Electrical Subject Matter Expert in defining and implementing a global strategy for engineering projects and maintenance activities.
• Define and develop technical standards, including safety and green aspects, and monitor technological developments.
• Provide technical support for all stakeholders and ensure the technical follow-up of all projects managed by the Engineering, Sites & Facilities team.
• Participate in feasibility studies and conceptual designs, ensuring the best technical solutions are provided.

Role Requirements
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Electrical/Security Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

• Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven industry experience in electrical systems and cybersecurity.
• A working knowledge and practical experience with ISO 27001:2022 and the NIS 2 Directive.
