Plant Director (Belgium)

The Hunter Shore Group is delighted to be retained to appoint a Plant Director for an international beauty and personal care manufacturer with an excess of 50 manufacturing facilities across the globe.

This is a career defining opportunity to lead at a significantly scaled site with new production lines and major facility expansions planned over the next 5 years.

The Plant Director plays a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility while also strategizing for long-term growth. Key responsibilities include streamlining production processes, upholding quality standards, managing financial resources, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

To be successful in the role of Plant Director:

• Strong proficiency in English, and business fluent in either Dutch or French.
• A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field is mandatory, while a postgraduate degree is advantageous.
• Over a decade of experience in manufacturing operations, with a preference for prior roles as a Plant Manager.
• Proven track record of thriving in multinational organisations with matrix structures.
• Preferably experience in different functions such as Planning, Operations, HR, etc.
• Adaptability to diverse business contexts and a history of driving results in dynamic environments.
