The Development of the Gifted and Talented (CDGT) is looking for an experienced individual to fill the position of Part-time Senior IT Officer. Reporting to the Center Manager, the appointee will ensure an efficient IT operation and is expected to work closely with the team to coordinate various program and workshop activities offered by the Center. Duties include, but are not limited to
Applicants should possess a bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field, with at least 10 years of relevant post-qualification work experience in IT support and system administration.
Proven expertise in IT infrastructure, networking, and security, including Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows servers environments, VMware/KVM. Proficiency in PHP programming, especially in secure payment gateway integration, solid experience in SQL for web application development and administration, including schema design and query optimization, as well as maintenance. Familiarity with ODBC configuration and integration between MySQL and Microsoft Access. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. The appointee should have good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset. (Duration: 1 year)
