The Division of Environment and Sustainability is now looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual to fill the post of Officer to provide general administrative and operational support to the MSc in Environmental Science and Management (EVSM) program, including but not limited to recruitment and admission; course registration and preparation; timetabling and classroom arrangement; course advising; coordination of student enrichment and alumni activities; liaison with program stakeholders; compilation of reports and consolidation of data and handling student enquiries, and performing daily office administration work and other duties as assigned.

Applicants should have a recognized bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of full-time work experience, preferably in program administration in the education sector.  The ideal candidate should have a problem-solving mindset; a pleasant personality with good interpersonal and communication skills; the ability to work both independently and in a team; attention to details, and capability of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.  The appointee should possess good knowledge in IT and software applications (including word processing, spreadsheet, presentation tools and data management), a strong sense of responsibility, and a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

Working outside normal office hours may be required occasionally.

(Duration: 2 years, renewable)

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of the contract.
