The GREAT Smart Cities Institute (GSCI) is seeking a high‑calibre manager to join the team. Reporting directly to the Director of GSCI, the manager will play a crucial role in leading the Institute's operations and development, while actively engaging with academic partners and external stakeholders, including industry and government, to drive impactful collaborations.
Key responsibilities:
Applicants must hold a bachelor's degree and possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant post‑qualification experience in project management and/or the education sector, including at least two years in a supervisory capacity. The ideal candidate should be both a people leader and collaborative team player, proactive and thorough in approach, and demonstrate strong leadership and management capabilities. Integrity, creativity in problem‑solving, and excellence in interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese is required. (Duration: 2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
