Business Development Manager - Logistics & Manufacturing Automation (Benelux)

Hikrobot is looking for a results-driven Business Development Manager to accelerate our growth in the Benelux logistics and manufacturing automation market .

This is a front-line commercial role for someone who thrives on opening new accounts, winning projects, and turning opportunities into revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of business growth and revenue generation for Hikrobot automation solutions in the Benelux region
  • Proactively identify, approach, and win new customers including system integrators, distributors, installers, and end users
  • Develop and execute an effective territory and account development plan to achieve and exceed sales targets
  • Build strong pipelines by prospecting, networking, cold outreach, and industry engagement
  • Lead commercial discussions, deliver persuasive product and solution presentations , and drive negotiations to close deals
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation → opportunity development → quotation → negotiation → order closing → revenue realization
  • Maintain and grow long-term relationships with key accounts to generate repeat business and upselling opportunities
  • Work closely with internal teams in sales support, marketing, and technical departments to ensure competitive and customer-focused proposals
  • Represent Hikrobot at trade shows, customer events, and industry exhibitions to expand brand visibility and generate leads
  • Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market intelligence to management

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven track record in B2B sales or business development within logistics automation, manufacturing automation, robotics, or industrial equipment
  • Strong experience selling to automation integrators, logistics operators, or manufacturing end users in the Benelux region
  • Demonstrated ability to open new accounts and consistently achieve sales targets
  • Existing industry network in sectors such as logistics, e-commerce, pharmaceuticals, electronics, automotive, food, or retail is highly preferred
  • Experience with solution-based or project-based sales is a strong advantage

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong hunter mentality with a proactive, opportunity-driven approach
  • Excellent negotiation, closing, and relationship-building skills
  • Commercially sharp with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for results
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multicultural international company
  • Strong communication skills in English plus Dutch and/or French
  • Good analytical skills to understand customer operations and position value-driven solutions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM/reporting tools
  • Team-oriented, but highly self-motivated and independent in managing territory
