Sales & Project Manager with MBI potential

Company Description

Herbert NV is a well established SME active in sales and project management of investment goods, more particularly industrial machinery. As an exclusive agent in the Benelux territory for our European based leading machine manufacturers, we are essentially active in the Textiles ; Recycling and Plastics industries. Our customers are industrial production facilities based in the Benelux.

Role Description

The Sales & Project Manager will be responsible for initiating, leading and managing investement projects in close collaboration with the respresentatives ouf our foreign based (Europe) top-level machine manufacturers. He/she will develop and implement effective sales strategies, build and maintain client relationships, and achieve sales targets. Being part of a small team of highly experienced colleagues, he/she is capable of initiating, managing and finalising active industrial investment projects with confidentiality, patience, proactiveness and with an eye for detail in full awareness of the bigger picture. He/she is a highly deontological professional and a true team player capable of working independently and in a self-directed way. In time, he/she might become part of management through MBI.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or production management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Having a passion for "how things are made" at industrial level. Experience and a network in the industry is certainly a plus.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree (or comparable through experience) with about 10 years working experience minimum; preferably in a BtoB environment and with a connection to the industry.
• Fluently multilingual (Dutch, French, English). Good knowledge of German is certainly a plus.
• Perfect understanding of general business management at SME level.
• Open to self-employment and entrepreneurship in time.
• Flexible and willing to travel (Europe) during short periods of time.
