EMEA Trade Marketing Manager

Trade Marketing Manager – EMEA

As our new EMEA Trade Marketing Manager, you will be the strategic bridge between our brand and our retail, travel retail, and specialty partners. Your mission: ensure that every customer touchpoint — from department stores to travel hubs — delivers a consistent, compelling Hedgren brand experience. You’ll develop and execute multi-channel trade marketing strategies, empowering our sales teams and partners with the tools, training, and activations needed to succeed.

This is a highly international and field-driven role, with frequent travel across key markets to support execution, gather insights, and build strong relationships with our partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement annual and seasonal trade marketing plans aligned with business priorities and sales objectives.
  • Translate the brand strategy into actionable B2B and in-store marketing tactics across all trade channels: department stores, specialist retailers, gift stores, travel retail, and B2B accounts.
  • Create and manage effective sell-in tools (catalogues, lookbooks, product decks, swatch books) to support our sales teams and agents.
  • Collaborate closely with the Brand Experience Expert to deliver tailored sell-out tools and point-of-sale materials per channel.
  • Ensure all trade marketing materials are on-brand and consistent across regions and partners.
  • Plan, coordinate, and attend international fairs, sales previews, and key partner events.
  • Develop retail activation kits, visual guidelines, and execution plans to support strong in-store brand performance.
  • Lead and deliver product and brand training sessions for internal teams and external partners.
  • Regularly visit stores and partners across EMEA to ensure brand consistency, collect market feedback, and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Track performance, usage, and ROI of trade marketing tools and activations.
  • Manage and optimize the trade marketing budget.

Profile & Experience

  • 5–8 years’ experience in trade marketing, channel marketing, or B2B marketing in lifestyle, fashion, travel accessories, or consumer goods.
  • Strong experience in a multi-channel environment — with an excellent understanding of department stores, travel retail, specialty and gift stores, and B2B accounts.
  • Hands-on experience creating and executing sell-in and sell-out tools.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to engage internal and external stakeholders across cultures.
  • Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for brand building and commercial impact.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Willing and able to travel internationally across the EMEA region approximately twice per month.

Note: While this role is not focused on e-commerce, a general understanding of online partner environments is appreciated but not required.

What We Offer

  • A key position within a fast-evolving, internationally expanding Belgian lifestyle brand.
  • The opportunity to shape how Hedgren engages and supports its trade partners across Europe.
  • A supportive and entrepreneurial culture with real ownership and impact.
  • Hybrid work setup: mix of Antwerp HQ presence and home office flexibility.
  • Competitive salary package, benefits, and travel opportunities.
