Tax Manager - Belgium & France
We are currently seeking an experienced Tax Manager to oversee tax operations across Belgium and France. This is a key regional role, offering the opportunity to take ownership of tax compliance, audits, transfer pricing, and accounting activities within a dynamic, international environment. We need a hands on Tax Manager with a keen interest in running multijurisdictional activities in an exciting new period for the company.
The Role:
As Tax Manager, you'll play a central part in supporting and implementing tax projects, ensuring compliance with European regulations, and working closely with finance teams. This position provides exposure to both local and international tax matters, including US GAAP reporting, intercompany transactions, and transfer pricing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support tax audits and compliance projects.
- Manage tax accounting activities (including provisions, cash tax forecasts, and reporting).
- Apply transfer pricing knowledge to ensure compliance and support audits.
- Collaborate with regional and international finance teams to streamline intercompany processes.
- Prepare and review European and US-related tax documentation.
- Perform financial and margin analyses to support compliance and business objectives.
- Contribute to high-value projects with global tax teams and shared service centers.
About You:
- Degree (graduate or postgraduate) in economics, commerce, or management.
- 5+ years' experience in intercompany accounting, finance, or tax within a multinational or consultancy setting.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and international transfer pricing.
- Skilled in general and intercompany accounting, financial data analysis, and project tracking.
- Proficient with enterprise systems and advanced Excel.
- Strong communicator, fluent in English and French (native-level French preferred), any Dutch language skills would be highly advantageous.
- A proactive, adaptable team player with excellent problem-solving skills.
Location: France or Belgium - Largely remote with circa 20% travel
Reporting to: European Tax Director
