What you'll do:
Key Account Manager
To define the general sales strategy for Belgium and to manage and develop a portfolio of existing key accounts across the retail sector
Key Responsibilities:
· Key contact for all retail customers
· Lead the negotiations with the national key accounts
· Define the pricing and promo strategy per customer and channel
· Identify and secure new business opportunities (new accounts, portfolio extension, shelf space etc.)
· Deliver sales reports, analyse performance, and provide market feedback to support strategic planning
· Define and update volume plan per customer to ensure smooth supply to avoid OOS and obsoletes
· Close cooperation with Belgian field sales retail and OOH/On Trade team
· Close cooperation with internal teams demand planning, marketing, customer service, finance and logistics
· Represent the Belgian sales team in international meetings
What we're looking for:
Candidate Profile:
· Master degree or bachelor plus equivalent of practical experience
· At least 5 years of experience in FMCG
· Proven experience in key account management in Food and Beverages
· Strong commercial skills and a track record of delivering revenue growth
· Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
· Additional on trade experience is a plus
· Experience in working within a small team with a hands-on mentality; ready to work on a large scope of tasks
· Strong team player whilst being able to defend your convictions
· Enjoying working with a high level of freedom within a clear framework
· Lead the negotiations with the national key accounts
