Our client, a prestigious US law firm with a globally renowned antitrust practice, is seeking a talented and ambitious associate with between NQ and 4 years of post-qualification experience to join its high-performing Brussels team.

This is a unique opportunity for a lawyer with top-tier antitrust experience, whether qualified in England and Wales or in an EU jurisdiction, to work at the heart of European competition law, advising on some of the most complex and high-profile matters in the market.

About the Role

Our client’s Brussels office works closely with the firm’s London antitrust team to represent global clients in matters before the European Commission and European courts. The team is especially recognised for its leading expertise in merger control and regularly advises on:

• High-stakes mergers involving innovative and novel transaction structures

• Strategic remedies including fix-it-first solutions, carve-out divestment packages and behavioural commitments

• Coordinating and securing foreign direct investment (FDI) approvals across Europe and globally

• Managing sophisticated relationships with European and UK regulators

Candidate Profile

• Between NQ and 4 PQE with experience from a leading antitrust practice

• Qualified in England and Wales or in an EU jurisdiction
