Capex Project Manager

We are currently looking for a CAPEX Project Manager to work on a project with our client, in the FMCG space, based in Belgium.

They have sites in Antwerpen, Malle and Bredene and ideally want as much office presense as possible, with some flexibility to work remotely.

They’re undergoing rapid expansion, including M&A activity, with a strong focus on cost-saving CAPEX projects, especially automation and quality upgrades.

This role can either be a long-term freelance engagement, or they can be open for permanent employment for the right person.

Some responsibilities include:

• Focus on civil, process, and packaging engineering.
• Generating value by investing and improving existing systems
• Projects include high-speed lines for pralines and multi-million euro investments.
• Responsible for local execution, reporting to the plant manager, and working within a CAPEX manager community

They're looking for someone with the below:

• 7–10 years CAPEX experience, ideally in food, FMCG or chemical sectors, who is strong in project execution.
• Adept at handling challenges, making big decisions, and being proactive in driving projects forward
• Must be hands-on, proactive, and comfortable with uncertainty.
• Handling responsibility and technically focused mindset.
