Job Responsibilities
Be an in-charge of a bench, a section or a Core Laboratory shift service of a clinical pathology laboratory specialty (Clinical Chemistry, or Haematology and Blood Bank, Clinical Microbiology)
Conduct laboratory testing and exercise quality control on routine and special medical laboratory tests and examinations
Participate in method and instrument evaluation
Provide training to laboratory staff
May required to work on shifts and perform on-call duties
Any other duties as assigned from time to time by the hospital or laboratory senior management
Shift duty is required
5 working days per week
Requirements
Degree in Biomedical Sciences / Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent
Part I or Part II Registered Medical Laboratory Technologist with a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Medical Laboratory Technologist Board, Hong Kong
