YOUR TASKS
In the framework of a collaborative project with IMEC, we are looking for a postdoctoral researcher with expertise in computational biology/bioinformatics/structural biology. Your task will be to leverage state-of-the-art AI techniques with expert knowledge and biologically relevant assumptions in the context of AI-aided inference of protein interaction networks. Good programming skills and knowledge of structural biology, protein chemistry, and/or protein regulation are a prerequisite. You will be embedded in IDLab Bioinformatics, headed by Prof. K. Marchal and Prof. T. Demeester. The group' s research focus is on bioinformatics method development by combining advanced AI with biological principles Research will be performed in close collaboration with experts in molecular dynamics, network biology and systems biology.
