Then we have a suitable job for you For our site Kontich in Belgium we are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Project Engineer.
Your responsibilities and tasks:
As a Project Engineer, you will be part of the engineering team. You will support the Project Managers and also take responsibility yourself for the execution of projects in the dairy, beverage and food industry (process engineering, piping, installation valves and pumps).
Part of the job is done in the office:
Calculating and preparing quotations and budget requests (preparing P&IDs, material lists, cost calculations).
Requesting quotes for materials and subcontractors.
Creating equipment lists.
Preparing process descriptions, manuals and documentation.
Ordering materials (valves, stainless steel piping, instrumentation, etc.).
Part of the job is done at customers' premises:
On-site follow-up of mechanical teams (welders) as site supervisor when needed.
On-site follow-up of subcontractors (insulation companies, electrical work contractors, etc.).
Ordering the necessary assembly material (bends, flanges, piping supports, etc.).
Safety: conducting site inspections, toolbox meetings, drawing up and managing project safety plans.
Start-up of installations (I/O testing, water testing, product testing).
