Project Manager – Data Transformation

Ghent - Dutch Speaking - 6-Month Contract - ASAP Start

We are currently hiring for an experienced Project Manager to lead a major data transformation programme for a financial services client based in Ghent, Belgium. This is a 6-month contract with an immediate start, ideal for someone fluent in Dutch and with a strong background in finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of data transformation initiatives aimed at centralizing and streamlining varied data systems and applications.
• Collaborate closely with technical data engineers and data stewards to align business needs with data architecture and governance.
• Define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring strategic objectives are met.
• Manage budgets, risks, and resources to ensure successful execution.
• Drive improvements in data quality, accessibility, and governance across the organisation.

Requirements

Proven experience managing complex data or digital transformation projects. Background in the finance industry (banking, insurance, or financial services). Fluent in Dutch and proficient in English. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills. Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
