Fujitsu is looking for a Cloud Platform Solution Engineer to join our customer team in Mechelen on a permanent basis. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of innovation, infrastructure, and customer engagement within a dynamic and future-focused environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Cloud Platform Solution Engineer, you’ll be part of the Cloud Platform Solutions Team – the go-to point for internal stakeholders seeking infrastructure solutions, whether in the cloud or on-premises. You’ll co-create optimal infrastructure setups, provide architectural guidance, and support the transformation toward a fully self-service model via our central Cloud Infrastructure (CI) Portal.

You will:

• Advise on Solutions & Architecture – Help internal customers choose the right infrastructure services aligned with their business needs.
• Own & Evolve the CI Portal – Contribute to its development and ensure it remains a reliable, user-friendly, and scalable self-service platform.
• Drive Innovation – Propose smart, forward-thinking solutions to optimize digital infrastructure.
• Collaborate & Align – Work cross-functionally with technical teams, architects, and partners to deliver future-proof infrastructure.
• Support Agile Practices – Take part in agile ceremonies (refinements, sprint planning, reviews) to keep improving.
• Manage Costs & Efficiency – Offer budget-conscious solutions with optimal performance and scalability.

What You Bring

• Broad expertise in cloud and on-premises environments:
• IaaS: Compute, storage, networking (hybrid), VPN, load balancing, basic security.
• PaaS: Kubernetes, OpenShift, APIs, file transfer, relational & non-relational databases.
• Experience with agile methodologies and project-based work.
• Familiarity with automation and scripting (Python, PowerShell) is a strong plus.
• A passion for improving user experience and operational excellence.
