Automation Key Account Manager – The Role

As an Automation Key Account Manager, you will act as a strategic advisor to your clients. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing long-term customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, and providing tailored automation solutions that drive value.

Automation Key Account Manager – Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of key industrial clients by delivering consistent value and support
• Identify new business opportunities and proactively approach potential customers
• Understand client needs and provide consultative advice on automation, motion control, drives, and related technologies
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop technical proposals and ensure customer satisfaction
• Take full ownership of your sales pipeline, including forecasting and closing deals

Automation Key Account Manager – Your Profile

• Solid experience in B2B technical sales, preferably in the industrial automation or electrical engineering sector
• Strong understanding of automation systems such as PLCs, drives, sensors, and control components
• Consultative and structured sales approach with proven negotiation skills
• Autonomous, customer-focused, and results-driven
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French; professional level of English required
