About the position
As a Commercial Finance Analyst France Belgium, you will report to the Finance lead France and Belgium. You will not only contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes but also play a vital role in finance business partnering and strategic decision-making. Collaborating closely with commercial managers and cross-functional teams, you will provide data-driven insights and recommendations that support sales, marketing, and business planning initiatives aimed at achieving organizational objectives. This includes analyzing promotional activities to ensure optimal allocation of resources and alignment with sales and marketing strategies. Your ability to bridge financial analysis with operational objectives will be instrumental in driving effective resource utilization and business growth.
In addition to your involvement in day-to-day financial operations like Gross to Net management and month-end closing activities, you will actively engage in strategic analysis and financial modeling to evaluate new investment opportunities. Your insights and assessments will guide senior management in making informed investment decisions that align with the organization's long-term goals and financial sustainability.
Furthermore, you will lead efforts to drive process standardization and best practices in commercial systems, enhancing efficiency and ensuring consistency in financial processes across the organization. This role requires hands-on experience in finance, proficiency in Excel and SAP, and strong stakeholder management skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders, ultimately positioning you as a trusted business partner capable of driving strategic initiatives forward.
So, what does it take to be successful in this role?
You have 3-5 years of experience in Finance, specifically demonstrating expertise in finance business partnering and strategic initiatives within a commercial finance setting. You should possess a solid understanding of finance principles, particularly as they relate to sales, marketing, and business planning. Previous experience in a fast-paced environment requiring agility will be advantageous, highlighting your ability to adapt and thrive in dynamic work settings. You speak French and English fluently.
Proficiency in Excel and SAP is essential for this role, enabling you to effectively analyze financial data, build complex models, and generate actionable insights. Your experience in stakeholder management should reflect your capacity to collaborate with diverse teams and establish yourself as a trusted business partner, leveraging financial expertise to drive strategic decision-making and business growth.
Additionally, your hands-on approach and demonstrated ability to deliver results in a timely manner will be critical in meeting the demands of this multifaceted role, where attention to detail and proactive problem-solving are paramount.
