Investment Counsellor (Belgium market, relocation to Dublin, Ireland)

We are partnering with a leading global investment management firm to identify talented finance professionals for its European operation. This role is suited to individuals who are ready to advance their careers by specialising in client advisory work across financial markets and investments.

The Investment Counsellor will manage relationships with high-net-worth clients in Denmark while being based in Dublin. The role focuses on understanding client goals, clearly explaining portfolio decisions, and building long-term trusted relationships. You will work closely with a Team Manager who will support your ongoing development.

Candidate Profile

• At least 2 years’ experience working with private clients in banking, wealth management or a related sector

• Strong understanding of financial markets, economic trends and core investment principles

• Fluent English and Dutch is essential.

• Positive, resilient and empathetic approach to client relationships

• MiFID certification, training or equivalent

• CFA or similar professional education is an advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain long-term client relationships, delivering consistently high standards of service

• Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients

• Act as the key link between clients and internal investment, research, trading and service teams

• Proactively communicate portfolio changes, market movements, and investment strategy

• Develop advanced knowledge of finance and capital markets through a structured training programme
