We're looking for a Senior MEP Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP) and Field Assembly Integration (FIA) scopes across large-scale commercial developments, including data centres and pharmaceutical facilities. You will be accountable for driving performance across safety, quality, cost, and programme, while coordinating multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take full responsibility for the planning, execution, and delivery of MEP and FIA packages from early design through to commissioning and handover.
- Develop and maintain detailed project programmes and budgets, ensuring alignment with overall project objectives.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with safety requirements, quality standards, and contractual obligations.
- Ensure MEP and FIA systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in accordance with design specifications and client expectations.
- Coordinate closely with other construction disciplines to ensure effective sequencing and integration of works.
- Lead project and coordination meetings, driving accountability and resolving technical or programme-related issues.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, providing regular progress and performance updates to key stakeholders.
- Ensure full compliance with local regulations, permits, codes, and construction standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in construction or project management, with a strong focus on MEP and FIA systems on large-scale commercial projects.
- In-depth knowledge of MEP, fire protection systems, and associated design and installation practices.
- Proven experience delivering data centre and/or pharmaceutical manufacturing projects is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to manage complex project teams.
- Familiarity with standard construction contracts such as FIDIC, NEC, or similar forms.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Proficient in the use of construction management software and project controls tools.
- PMP certification is desirable.
