R&D Scientific Engineer: Sensors, Analytics & Visualization
Function:
As an R&D Scientific Engineer, you will join our Future Technologies Division based in Mechelen. In this role, you will work closely with global R&D teams in Mechanical Engineering, Process Design, and Software Development, contributing to the development of cutting-edge pharmaceutical technologies and automation.
Your focus will be on sensors and data analytics, where you'll apply your scientific and critical thinking to evaluate and test novel ideas from academia and industry. These ideas are tailored for our core domain: continuous tablet production in the pharmaceutical industry. Working in multi-disciplinary teams, alongside suppliers and end-users, you will co-develop, design, and debug some of the most innovative production and control systems for modern medicine.
A special emphasis of this role is on the visualization of sensor and analytics data. You will collaborate closely with global GUI and front-end development teams. Therefore, this position is ideal for candidates with a strong interest in designing front-end GUI applications for machine prototypes.
At Fette Compacting, we are pioneering real-time release testing (RTRT) by embedding Process Analytical Technologies (PAT) and advanced analytics. This position offers an opportunity to shape this transformative shift in pharmaceutical production.
