Senior Controller Location: Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time Fuse is a vertically integrated real estate platform on a mission to redefine urban living for students and young professionals. We transform underutilized assets in Central and Eastern Europe into vibrant, community-driven living environments—combining quality housing with shared spaces, curated events, and a deep sense of belonging. As Controller / Senior Controller, you’ll be responsible for ensuring financial integrity and operational discipline across the Fuse group. You will lead financial reporting, oversee accounting processes, and manage compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Working closely with the founders, you’ll play a key role in consolidating financials, managing audits, and improving processes to support our next stage of growth. This role is ideal for someone with real estate or project-based finance experience who thrives in a fast-paced, international environment and wants to help build the financial backbone of a scaling platform. It’s well suited for a finance professional with startup experience (or mindset) who’s eager to take ownership, drive structure, and grow with the company. Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting across all entities Consolidate group-level financials and ensure consistency across countries Coordinate local accounting firms and ensure compliance with legal and tax regulations Prepare annual accounts, oversee audits, and manage tax filings Help implement and optimize accounting tools or ERP systems Monitor compliance and financial risks across jurisdictions 5+ years of experience in accounting, controlling, or audit—preferably in real estate or a project-driven environment ~ Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting tools (Exact, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar) ~ Understanding of real estate finance, property structures, or multi-entity setups ~ Experience in a startup or scale-up environment is a strong advantage ~ High degree of ownership in an international company
