Group Operations Coordinator

To support our group operations, we are looking for a Group Operations Coordinator who enjoys bringing structure, working with data and taking initiative in a role with a lot of impact.

The Job

As Group Operations Coordinator , you work side-by-side with the Group COO and help shape how Expertum operates across the group. You bring structure , insights , and coordination across teams, with a strong operational focus on Belgium and a group-wide perspective.

• Act as a trusted operational partner to the Group COO , with growing ownership over day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate and improve group-level operational processes across four countries, ensuring clarity and alignment, and follow up on how they work in practice to spot bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
• Own and develop group-wide resource planning and staffing models , balancing workloads across teams and entities in close collaboration with local team leads.
• Analyse and interpret operational data (utilization, profitability, forecasting, …) to support management decisions.
• Support the implementation and rollout of a professional planning tool , alongside existing tools such as SAP Cloud ERP, and help colleagues get the most out of these tools through documentation , training , and guidance.
• Collaborate with team leads , Sales , and Finance to ensure smooth service delivery and efficient order-to-cash handovers.
• Identify inefficiencies and proactively propose improvements , supporting or leading initiatives to standardize and improve ways of working.

What we’re looking for:

Must-haves

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in economics, business, operations or a related field
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, process-oriented mindset
• Good knowledge of Excel and comfort working with data and reporting
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work across different teams
• Interest in technology and digital tools, and motivation to work in a system-driven environment
• Fluent in Dutch and English, and a basic knowledge of French

Nice-to-haves

• First experience in operations, staffing, planning, consulting or a similar environment
• Experience with ERP systems or operational reporting tools (SAP is a plus, not a requirement)
• Exposure to working in a multi-country or group context
